Howard Carter was initially a great artist.
However Zahi Hawass brought up allegations against Howard carter. Most of the people believed that it was somewhat due to him that there was a curse on the Pharoahs.
They feel that the mummies should never be disturbed.
He said that the total number of curses increased after Howard carter discovered the tomb of Tautankhamun.
However we do not really know if this was true or not. It was an allegation.
