The amount of bromine is required is 2 grams

Therefore in the given diagram

1 mole of phenol is equal to 3 moles of Br2 is required to convert tribromophenol

((94 is mass of phenol ))

Phenol +  3 Br2  --------> 2,4,6-tribromophenol

Moles of BR2 required is 3 Br2 = 3 * (2*80) = 480

Amount of bromine needed

(480*2)/94 = 10.22
