The reaction is as follows
Ca+O2—CaO
Here 40g of Ca react with 32g of oxygen to produce quick lime.
There 10g of Ca will react with 10*32/40g of O2
320/40
8g. Therefore 8g +10g will produce 18g of CaO..

2Ca + O2 --> 2CaO

Which means,

2x40g of Ca will give 2x56g of CaO.

Then 10g of Ca formed.
