Cao + CO2 ➡ CaCO3
- 44 gms of CO2➡100 gms of CaCO3
- 66 gms of CO2➡?{let us assume x}
- 44x=100 × 66{criss cross multiplication}
- ': x={100×66}÷44
- x = 100 ×(3/2)
- x = 50 × 3
- therefore x = 150
- Hence it gives or requires 150gms of CaCO3.
