CaCO3 -> CaO + CO2

Atomic weight of Marble(CaCO3)=40+12+3*16

=100g

atomic weight of CaO= 40+16= 56g

Atomic weight of CO2=12+2*16=44g

Now,

By unitary method,

44g of CO2 is produced by 100g of CaCO3

1g of CO2 will be produced by 100/44 g of CaCO3

So, 66g of CO2 will be produced by (100/44)*66 g of CaCO3

=150g of CaCO3 (Marble)
