Answer
- 1.5 radians is subtended
Given
- An angle is subtended by an arc 3 m in length on the circumference of a circle whose radius is 2 m
To Find
- Angle in radians
Solution
Find attachment for clear vision about circle , arc length and radius .
Arc length , s = 3 m
Radius , r = 2 m
Angle , θ = ? radians
We know that , " Arc length is equals to product of radius and angle between them "
⇒ s = rθ
⇒ 3 = 2 ( θ )
⇒ θ = 1.5 radians
So , Angle in radians = 1.5 radians
