what appeal does the poet make to nature in the poem 'Asleep in the Valley'?​

The poet appeals to nature to keep the soldier warm so that he doesn't catch a cold. He asks the insects not to disturb the soldier as he is peacefully sleeping. Here the poem takes a turn and we find two red holes at the side of the soldier.
