Antibiotics are produced by microorganisms by the process of fermentation. It is a secondary metabolite produced by microbes such as bacteria, fungi, etc. which is exploited on a large scale in industries. Examples are penicillin, cephalosporin( cephalexin), Macrolides(erythromycin), etc.

The elements which can't survive are called abiotic. They are produced by nature. For example - sand, furniture, etc.
