there are two types of acid-
1) weak: partially ionises in solution
ex: ethanoic acid (vinegar)
propanoic acid
hydroiodic acid
etc.
2) strong: completely ionises in solution
ex: hydrochloric acid
sulfuric acid
nitric acid
etc.
