ACTIVE VOICE

- In active voice, the subject performs the action.

- Verb Form : 1st form

- eg : He speaks english.

- Sentence Formation : [ Subject + Active Verb + Object + Time Compliment ]

PASSIVE VOICE

- In passive Verb, the subject receives the action.

- Verb Form : Past Participle (3rd form)

- eg : English is spoken by him.

- Sentence Formation : [ Subject + Passive Verb + Object + Time Compliment ]

POINTS TO REMEMBER

- The tense pf a sentence does not change.

- Pronouns also changes while changing active into passive and vice versa.

- Some verbs can have two objects.

- Future continuous and perfect continuous tenses do not have passive forms.

- Verbs which do not object cannot be expressed into passive.

- In passive voice, we use the past participle form of the verb along with an appropriate form of auxiliary verb.
