Since only a section of the population is studied, the sampling method economises on time, effort and money, whereas, Census method involves huge cost, time and effort as it involves complete enumeration.

samples are made and data is collected through the inquiry done from the samples,it is less time consuming
In Census:
suppose the inquiry has to be done
from the population of India...so the whole population will be taken as samples so,it is difficult to have inquiry,it is time consuming ,requires manpower
