Advantage
Oceans provide sustenance to millions of people, ban on the plastic help the ecology of the ocean.
Plastic chock severe line and cause flood like situation.
Burning of plastic release harmful gases,it damage fertility of soils. Ban is good for air,soils and water.
UN include ban on plastic in their agenda.
Disadvantage
Traders and manufacturer's of plastic opposed the ban.
Some inconvenient to the people.I don't see any major inconvenient for the people. So ban is good for environment.
