• You get to do what you love eg. Singing, dancing
• You get to wear stylish outfits
• The brands you represent will often send you free samples eg. Makeup
• The company pays for food, clothing, MV production etc. And as long as you leave the company with good terms or there a reputable company you won't have to pay it back.
• Getting to travel the world, expecially if your in a group who's popular internationally
• Meeting fellow individuals who share your dream eg. Other idols

Disadvantage

• Being overworked
• Social pressure and Anxiety are frequent
• Lack of nutrition from dieting
• Pressure to conform to Korean Beauty standards
• Lack of freedom in terms of what you can say, where you can go etc.
• Most idols don't have control on what music they produce
• Unless your a hugely popular group, you don't earn alot of money.
