What are Advantages and disadvantages of revised simplex method.or drawbacks of revised simplex method? Also why revised simplex was designed after simplex method?

Advantages

  • The reversed simplex method is going to reduce based on inverse and RHS constant and variables. Therefore the information is used to store the memory of the computer.
  • The theory of reversed simplex method is important and quite helpful for sensitivity.

Disadvantages

  • The main disadvantage is to reduce of reversed simplex method is the computation of digital computers for calculation of site computation is very important. And also computation mistakes and many more.

Due to the  linear multiple-objective problems revised simplex was designed after the simplex method.
