They are group 2 elememts which are found naturally in earth crust ..They are divalent.. .!..

✨Be, Mg, Ca, Sr, Ba & Ra belong to these metals.
Since all elements present in a specific Group have same valencies, Alkaline Earth Metals have same valency and that's 2
