hi meet here is your answer
In chemistry, an amphoteric compound is a molecule or ion that can react both as anacid and as a base. ... Metal oxides whichreact with both acids as well as bases to produce salts and water are known asamphoteric oxides. Amphoteric oxidesinclude lead oxide and zinc oxide, among many others.
hope it's helpful for you, :-)

 \huge {ANSWER}

{AMPHOTERIC \: OXIDE }

▶The compounds which when react with acid or alkali will give salt and water as end produce.

{Amphoteric oxide /hydroxide +acid \longrightarrow salt + water}

{Amphoteric oxide /hydroxide +alkali \longrightarrow salt + water}

▶EXAMPLE :--

Zinc, Aluminium  \: and \: lead \:forms \:  amphoteric \: compounds

⚛Compounds like (Zinc oxide) ZnO, (Lead II oxide) PbO, (bauxite )Al_2O_3 ,(Zinc hydroxide) Zn(OH),(Lead hydroxide)Pb(OH)_2 and (aluminum hydroxide) Al(OH)_3.

▶EQUATION :--

ZnO + 2NaOH \longrightarrow Na_2ZnO_2 +H_2O

Zn(OH)_2+2NaOH \longrightarrow Na_2ZnO_2 +2H_2O

PbO + 2NaOH \longrightarrow Na_2PbO_2 +H_2O

Pb(OH)_2+ 2NaOH \longrightarrow Na_2PbO_2 +2H_2O

Al_2O_3+ 2NaOH \longrightarrow 2NaAlO_2 +H_2O

Al(OH)_3+ NaOH \longrightarrow NaAlO_2+2H_2O
