a) These are usually terrestrial & sporophytic.

b) Seeds are covered by fruit wall or pericarp.

c) Process of double fertilization is present.Fertilization occurs by siphonogamy ( by pollen tube formation).

d) The avory ripens into fruit which contains the seeds.

Angiosperms have been further divided into two classes:

  1. Dicotyledons ( with one cotyledon) e.g. Pea, gram.
  2. Monocotyledons ( with one cotyledon) e.g. Wheat, rice etc.

Mustard, Cactus, Guava, Mango, Rose, Onion, Calotrops, Nerium & Pipal.
