Angles

When two rays meet at an intersecting points is called an angle. An angle is the combination of two rays having common endpoint. An angle is usually measured in degrees. The two components of an angle are "side" and "vertices".

In geometry, there are various types of angles, based on measurement. The name of basic angles are as follows:

Acute Angle - An acute angle is one that is less than 90 degrees.

Right Angle - A right angle is one that is that is exactly 90 degrees or always equal to 90 degrees.

Obtuse Angle - An obtuse angle is one that is more than 90 degrees and less than 180 degrees.[tex][/tex]

Straight Angle - A straight angle is one that is exactly 180 degrees.

Reflex Angle - A reflex angle is one that is greater than 180 degrees and less than 360 degrees.
