an antacid is a substance which neutralize the acid which gets collected in stomach and we say it as acidity in stomach....
some examples of antacids are...
milk of magnesia..
magnesium hydroxide..
these. are mostly used and very helpful during acidity..

Hey !!

Antacids are the chemical substances which removes the excess acid in the stomach and raise the pH to appropriate level.

Example :- Sodium hydrogencarbonate , ranitidine , a mixture of aluminium and magnesium hydroxide.
