Anti- matter, as its name suggests, is opposite of the 'matter'. In matter, the nucleus is positively charged protons and negatively charged electrons revolve around it antimatter the nucleus consists of negatively charged electrons and positively charged protons revolve around the negative nucleus. It is extremely rare. It is so harmful that even some particles of anti-matter are enough to penetrate through the human body completely. It is generally formed in outer space in nano quantity.

AMAYTRIPATHI: nice but can be explained much better

HERE IS YOUR ANSWER

Answer:

Antimatter is a material composed of so-called antiparticles. It is believed that every particle we know of has an antimatter companion that is virtually identical to itself, but with the opposite charge. ... When a particle and its antiparticle meet, they annihilate each other – disappearing in a burst of light.

Explanation:

Antimatter particles bind with each other to form antimatter, just as ordinary particles bind to form normal matter. For example, a positron (the antiparticle of the electron) and an antiproton (the antiparticle of the proton) can form an antihydrogen atom.
