Antibiotics are medicines that help stop infections caused by bacteria. They do this by killing the bacteria or by keeping them from copying themselves or reproducing. The word antibiotic means “against life.” Any drug that kills germs in your body is technically an antibiotic.
Precautions

1. Antibiotics should be taken under the supervision of a well qualified doctor.
2. Course (intake) of antibiotics should be completed as prescribed by the doctor.
3. Antibiotics should be taken in the right amount and at the right time.

Answer:

Hey mate,

  1. ANTIBIOTICS :-

  • ANTIBIOTICS are the chemicals which inhabit the growth of harmful microorganisms by affecting their life process.

FOR Example --- PENICILLIN Is an antibiotic, which is obtained from a fungus, PENICILLIN NOTATUM.

There are also many others like -- STEREPTOMYCIN, TETRACYLINE and many more!

2. SOME PRECAUTIONS :-

  • ANTIBIOTICS must be taken only on the advice of a qualified doctor.
  • They also should be taken only on the prescribed dosage.

BCZ, not taking the antibiotics on the prescribed dosage may be in effective when used in future.

  • They also shouldn't be taken, when there isn't really need of antibiotics.

BCZ, if they are taken when not really req. then it might kill the good bacteria present in our body.

HOPE IT HELPS..U..DROP SOME THANKS!!

LAST BUT NOT LEAST,

GOOD NIGHT!!
