Eddy current , like all electric currents generate heat as well as electromagnetic forces. the electromagnetic forces can be used for leviations , creating, movement, or to give the strong braking effect.
APPLICATIONS OF EDDY CURRENT ARE:-
★ gym equipment:- one of the most common places we may see eddy current at work ,while we are putting ourselves to work.
★ high speed electric trains :- transportation technology has adopted the innovation in eddy current braking to create safer braking system and new high speed railway.
