Mitochondria is power plant and power house of eukaryotic cell.
◇ Mitochondria is place for oxidation of food molecules
◇ They are nearly 50- 200 in each cell

◇ It has 2 membranes.
◇Inner membrane has liquid called MATRIX.
◇The name of inner membrane is also called as CRISTAE.
FUNCTION:
