The perception of liking or disliking a thing is Attitude.
It is formed by factors ie Biology(Genetics, Brain..), Environment , Learning , and Will.
Humans with Higher Consciousness are able to keep their perception for things the way it is.
Scientifically our Brain has Cognitive Biases which shape attitudes.
