Aves:

Aves is a class in which birds and avein dinosaurs are included.

Characteristics:

  • 1 pair of wings is present.
  • Modified forelimbs are present.
  • Hollow bones are present ( Pneumatic bones ).
  • Body is covered with feathers .
  • Strong flight muscles are present.
  • One ovary is present.
  • There are air sacs in lungs.
  • Beak is present.
  • Bipedal locomotion.
  • Excretion is done using kidneys .
  • Digestive system is complete.
  • Four chambered heart is present.
