What are background radiations? What is its source?

The background radiations are the radioactive radiations to which we all are exposed, even in absence of actual radioactive source.

There are 2 sources -1) Internal source- such as Potassium, carbon present inside our body.

2) External source- such as Cosmic rays,radon-222 ,etc.
