Bacteria are unicellular microorganisms. Being just a few micrometres in length, different types of bacteria have different shapes. They are found in mainly four types of shapes. They are :-

Rod-shaped ( bacilli ), spherical shaped ( cocci ), curved shaped ( commas ), and spiral shaped ( spirrila ).
