Some beaks are pointy and some beaks are blunt... It helps a bird to pick up food and eat it.... A long necked bird needs a long beak to pick up its prey and with its beak it can reach it but a small bird needs a small beak because it can reach its food ( becuz it's small and tiny, it can just pick up its food with out using its neck... It doesn't have a long next ;-;)

Hope it helps!!! And make me pls ;3.
