BIODEGRADABLE substances are those substances which can be DECOMPOSED by bacteria ...

e.g. vegetable peels, etc.

NON-BIODEGRADABLE wastes are those waste products which CANNOT BE DECOMPOSED by bacteria ...

e.g. metal , etc.

  • they mix with the soil and prevent infiltration process.
