What are biological rhythms? Give example.

Biological rhythms control much of the body's normal functions, including performance, behavior, sleep and endocrine rhythms. These functions are primarily regulated by the circadian clock, a cluster of nerves located on the hypothalamus in the brain.

Biological rhythms:

The complete natural cycle of change in the chemical’s or functions of human body is known as biological rhythms. They are like a master clock which are controlling other clocks of the body.  

Examples:

There are four kinds of major biological rhythms which are given below

i) Circadian rhythms

ii) Diurnal rhythms

iii) Ultradian rhythms

iv) Physiological and behavioral rhythms
