What are bivalent cations and bivalent anions?
Give two examples of each.

It is also known as divalent cation. Example :- A magnesium ion, Mg2+ is a divalent cation. A bivalent anion is an anion with an overall charge of -2 and so valence of 2. It is also known as divalent anion.
