let eqation of one parallel line be = ax + by + c1=0

let eqation of 2nd parallel line be = ax + by + c2=0

distance between two parallllel lines is

c1 - c2/√(a^2 + b^2)

c1 , c2 are constants of 1st and 2nd equations
