Carboxylic acid is form of carbon , 2 oxygen atoms and hydrogen atom. Functional group -COOH . CH3-CH2-COOH. It's called as acetic acid or Glacial Acetic Acid . At home Vinegar has 5-8% of ethanoic acid in water . 2CH3COOH + Na2CO3 ------> 2CH3COONa + H2O + CO2 . sodium carbonate is the salt
