Cathode rays are the negative rays .. which move from negative electrode towards positive electrode

Anode rays are the rays which emitted from the gas molecules ..
As the cathode rays strike the gas molecules gas releases electron and changes to positive ions ... which move towards cathode ... known as Anode rays

(cathode rays are negetive rays and anode rays are positive rays)

it has been observed that at low pressure, the electric discharge produces interesting results in a discharging tube.
The tube consisys of a hard glass in which two metallic electrodes c and A are fused .A side tube T is also sealed in it which when required is connected with a vacuum pump and low pressure gauze. To creat very low pressure, molecular pump os fixed with aside T having charcoal to abdorve the residual gases in the discharge tube .The elecyrodes C and A are connected to the dpurce of high voltage electricity .Electric discharge is passed through the gas at very low pressure taken in a discharge tube.streams of bluish light are seen proceeding normally from the cathode. These are "cathode rays".

when electric discharge was passed through a gas at very low pressure stteams of luminosity were seen at the back of the cathode. The rays were found to travel in opposite direction to the cathode rays and also passed through the holes of the cathode. tgese are bamed as"positive rays or anode rays".

I think it will help you then you mark me brainlist please please please. ...
