centrosomes help in cell division in animal cells.during cell division centrioles migrate to the poles of animal cells and are involved in the formation of spindle.

In animal cells, centrosomes are organelles situated near the nucleus. A centrosome consists of two centrioles at right angles. These centrioles split up during cell division and go on the opposite sides of the nucleus. They then form spindle like fibres called aster which help in cell division. Thus, the centrioles regulate cell division
