what are CFCs and why they are considered harmful for the life on earth?

CFC is harmful gas which is used in refigrator,AC etc. it is harmful because it is cause of depletion of the ozone layer

CFC means Chloro Fluro Carbon..it is released from deo spray .. .refrigerators etc...it is considered to be harmful because it deplets the ozone layer of our atmosphere and making ozone layer thin..and it is a carbon compound so when it burns it produce carbon dioxide which rise the lavel of global warming.
And if it dilute in lakes and oceans it can be dangerous to aquatic animals..
so in this way CFCs is harmful for the life on the earth
