The fact is that CFCs are not actually causing any holes in the ozone layer but it is that they are releasing extra carbon dioxide in the atmosphere and this leads to extra heating of the earth that causes various problems like global warming. Till now there is only one hole in the ozone layer that of caused due to the reflecting of the UV rays from ice covered Antarctica. CFC have no link with the holes they basically cause global warming and such problems
