Chasmogamous flower are the bisexual flowers that are open with exposed anthers stigma.

Cross-polynation can't occur in Chasmogamous flowers because they remain in bud form throughout their life.and form seeds via self-pollination.

Chasmogamous flowers are those that open only after self pollination has occurred. For example, peas, beans etc.

Cross-pollination cannot occur in cleistogamous flowers. This is because cleistogamous flowers never open at all. ... Hence, only self-pollination is possible in these flowers.
