Physical changes are changes in which the properties of matter only change. Chemical changes are changes in which two substance combines to form a new substance.
Explanation:
- Chemical changes cause a substance to change into an entirely new substance with a new chemical formula. Chemical changes are also known as chemical reactions.
- The ingredients of a reaction are called reactants, and the end results are called products.
- physical change is a change to a sample of matter in which some properties of the material change, but the identity of the matter does not change.
- crushing can, breaking a glass, cutting wood, melting a piece of ice, and mixing sand and water are some examples of physical changes.
- Rusting, burning, cooking, baking, digestion, photosynthesis, fermentation, and explosion are some examples of chemical change.

1. The chemical changes results in formation of at least one new substance. In chemical changes one substance reacts with another substance to undergo a change in presence of chemical composition. Chemical change brings a change in the chemical properties of matter & new substance is obtained.
2. The physical change does not results into formation of new substance. It is temporary change. The physical change is reversible form of change. It is the change which occurs without a change in a chemical nature of the substance.
