What are Chloroplasts?

These are the green pigmented plastics found mostly in green plants.

Special Points:-

=>The space between the inner Membrane of the chloroplast is called the stroma.

=>Organised flattened sacs are present in the stroma called the thylakoids.

=>Thylakoids are further arranged in stacks called the Grana.

=>These chloroplast traps the solar energy and prepares food for the plant thus plays an important role in photosynthesis.

=>These contain essential enzymes within it that helps in the synthesis of carbohydrates and proteins.
