Hello mate

There are three colour giving pigments in the plant cell.
*Chloroplast
*chromoplast
*Leucoplast

Chloroplast is the pigment in the plant cell which gives it green colour.

Chromoplast gives the plant colour other than green like Brown, yellow etc.

And the Leucoplast gives no colour.

Chromoplasts :- Coloured pigments other than green.

  • Phaeoplast - Brown
  • Rhodoplast - Red

Leucoplast - Non pigmented colour , white in colour

  • Generally found in underground parts

  • Important for food storage .

  • eg :- Aleuroplast , Elaioplasts and Amyloplast
