Cilia---->These are hair like structures used for locomotion. It is present in paramoecium and other ciliates. They use it to swim. The syncronised movement of the rows of cilias present on the surface of the body help them to locomote.
flagella---->These are hair like structures. It is partly covered by nucleo protein sheath called axoneme. A single flagellum is present in euglena and it uses it to swim.
