The organism Paramecium has small thread like structures called the cilia (singular: cilium) which helps it to catch its food.
After complete digestion, the soluble food gets absorbed by the small intestine through minute finger like projections in it called villi(singular: villus). These villi increases the area for absorption of the digested food.

Answer:
Explanation:
The inner surface of the small intestine has numerous finger-like projections called villi (Singular villus).
Villi increase the surface area which helps in absorption of the digested food especially fatty acids and glycerol. Also, the blood vessels in that help in absorbing the nutrients into the blood.
