Complementary pairwise functions are those that refer to a homogeneous differential equation or two functions such as f(x) + g(x) = 0.

  • A set of functions can be considered as F, where f(x) > g(x) for any value of x, or  f(x) < g(x) for any value of x.
  • The set of functions is even if for any f(x) within the set F, thus it can be said that f(-x) = f(x) for any value of x
