Complementary angles are the angles whose angles’ sum is 90°. Ex- 60°+30°.

Supplementary angles are the angles whose angles’ sum is 180°. Ex- 130°+50°.

The two angles are said to be adjacent angles when they share the common vertex and side. Ex- Angle AB and BC.

Linear pair of angles are formed when two lines intersect each other at a single point.

Vertical Angles (Vertically Opposite Angles) When two lines intersect each other, then the opposite angles, formed due to intersection are called vertical angles or vertically opposite angles. A pair of vertically opposite angles are always equal to each other.
