What are complex tissues? Explain their types.

Complex tissues are the tissues which perform more than one function and are composed of different type of cells(+1).

There are two types of complex tissues:-

1) Xylem- This tissue helps to conduct the water and nutrients upwards and also helps them to form the bark.

2) Phloem- This tissue helps to transport food from leaves to other parts of the plants and they are made up of different types of cells.
