Major portion of the urine contains water that is up to 95 percent. Other components include but are not limited to

  • Urea is equal to 9.3 g/L.
  • Chloride is equal to 1.87 g/L.
  • Sodium is equal to 1.17 g/L.
  • Potassium is equal to 0.750 g/L.
  • Creatinine is equal to 0.670 g/L.

There are also some ions that are dissolved and some organic and inorganic compounds like proteins and hormones etc.
