In a geometry three or more lines in a plane are said to be concurrent lines if they intersect at a single point.

In our plane geometry in two or three dimensional co-ordinate system, we call three straight lines as concurrent if they pass through one single point or intersect at one point.

Concurrency has some properties that help solve some problems easily.

For example, three concurrent forces being in equilibrium there is an easy solution.

In a triangle, all the medians intersect at one point.
