Simply conductors means which conducts electricity. They have more free electrons in the room temprature . Here there is no forbidden energy gap between valence band and conduction band means they are overlapping , so the energy of valence band is same to the conduction band so the free electrons are easily move and conduct electricity .

EG- Copper, gold, aluminum, brass and etc are also good conductors.
