For Example :-

I have a series - 1, 2, 3, 4, ..

2 = 1 + 1

3 = 2 + 1

4 = 3 + 1 . . . ..  ..  . .

If three unknown numbers are said to be consecutive, then let the first and the smallest number be n

So, the three numbers are

= n, (n + 1), {(n + 1) + 1}

= n, (n + 1), (n +2)
